In May 2026, Dalian Konform welcomed the core team from Russian partner to carry out process tests on 5-series and 7-series aluminum alloy by Continuous casting and continuous extrusion machine. It means we are trying a significant technical exploration and cooperation attempt between the two sides in the field of high-end material forming.
Previously, there was almost no application experience of such high-hardness aluminum alloys on continuous casting and continuous extrusion machine, with an extremely high uncertainty. The Russian clients attached great importance to this cooperation, specially dispatching the deputy general manager and production director to be stationed on site throughout the whole process to jointly promote the process verification work. Although the two teams conducted multiple rounds of in-depth attempts in equipment debugging, process parameter optimization and material matching. This test still failed to meet the expected goal and can not achieve stable continuous production. Though the project has not succeeded for the time being, it has laid a solid foundation for the next stage of process optimization and equipment upgrading. The two sides will continue to maintain communication afterwards, and continuously promote technical research and joint development.
Subsequently, the clients took back a small section of product with smooth surface and good forming intercepted during the test for further analysis, and once again expressed their willingness to continue cooperative tests. They entrusted our side to continuously promote the subsequent process verification work, hoping to obtain the ideal stable production results as soon as possible.
